Being a psychologist is more than a profession – it’s a privilege. It's an invitation to walk alongside my clients as they navigate the emotional, psychological, and spiritual complexities of life. This trust is the cornerstone of my work, and I honor it deeply, believing that the connection between therapist and client is the foundation for meaningful and transformative growth.
For over 30 years, I've had the honor of helping individuals and couples overcome challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Early in my career, I witnessed the profound resilience of the human spirit while working in hospitals, community mental health, and hospice care. I also served as a clinical director, mentoring therapists and gaining invaluable insights into the complexities of mental health. However, as the field became increasingly dominated by bureaucracy and insurance policies, I chose to focus on private practice. I believe that mental health care should focus on people, not policies. That's why I don't work within insurance frameworks-allowing me to prioritize my clients' unique needs.
